Tonight, the Slayer had pulled out all of the stops. News had traveled to her via Willy that their was a vampire nest camped out in the old Majestic theatre. Back in the day she would have assembled the team and marched out there. However, not these days. Since coming back she'd been a lot colder, more reckless...And she was taking this one on alone. Partly because she wanted to know she was as strong as ever, partly because she simply didn't want them to come. She still resented them for what they'd done.

Not having slept all night, Buffy got out of bed (she'd just been lying there anyways) and started to get dressed. It was four o' clock in the morning and still dark, though the sun would be coming up anytime. Hopefully she'd be back from the nest before Dawn woke up.

Placing a vial of holy water into her pocket, she then also placed a stake in her waist band. On her way out of the house she stopped at the weapons chest in the living room and took a sword with her.

Black heels clicked on the pavement as she approached the old theatre about a half hour later. Her Spidey-Senses were going absolutely insane, and her side killed, which meant they were definitely inside. She partly hoped they'd be asleep, though she knew it wouldn't be as much fun at that point.

Nonetheless, she silently and stealthily crossed to the other side of the street. Moving to the side of the building, she grabbed hold of a fire escape and lifted herself into it. Climbing up to the top roof she twisted the door handle to the inside until it snapped and headed down. Standing on the production balcony above the stage, she spotted about a dozen of them below her.

And in the middle, tied to what had previously been a prop chair, she spotted someone else...Someone human.

Notes: This would be perfect for any humans that want to have been taken hostage ^^ Otherwise, anyone is welcome to join. Just an idea! Someone could have even followed her to help, too.
